The jury of the 2026 Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Hungary decided not to award a first prize this year. The orchestral final was held on the evening of 20 September 2026 at the Kodály Centre in Pécs, and the jury was chaired by pianist Olga Kern.
Second prize was shared between Ildikó Rozsonits of Hungary and Barbare Tataradze of Georgia, who each receive 18,000 euros. Third prize, worth 9,000 euros, went to Sebestyén Pellet of Hungary.
Rozsonits also won the Audience Prize of 1,000 euros. The fourth finalist, Calvin Abdiel, received two special prizes of 500 euros each: the Olga Kern Special Prize and the Filharmonia Hungary Prize.
