The Piano Star International Competition has officially concluded its fifth season! This weekend, on December 14th (Groups A–C) and December 15th (Groups D–E), our Grand Finals showcased an extraordinary level of talent and artistry from young pianists across the globe.
Over the past few months, the live performances and adjudication process have been an incredibly rewarding experience for our contestants, esteemed judges, and dedicated staff. We are immensely proud of the passion, perseverance, and hard work demonstrated by all participants.
We look forward to celebrating this year’s winners at the 2025 Winners Concert in Carnegie Hall on June 29th, 2025.
We are thrilled to announce this season’s prize winners:
The Gold, Silver, Bronze Medalists, and Honorable Mentions listed above will receive trophies, with cash prizes awarded to Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medalists. Gold Medalists will also receive a complimentary invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall on June 29, 2025, as part of the Winners Concert. Invitations will be extended to Silver Medalists and, based on availability, other high-ranking contestants. More information regarding prizes can be found here.

• Luzerne Music Center Summer Camp Scholarship Award
Gold Medalists of Groups C, D, and E have been awarded a full scholarship – including room and board – for this prestigious summer program in upstate New York.
• Gulf Coast Symphony Solo Recital Award
The Group E Gold Medalist has been awarded a solo recital opportunity presented by the Gulf Coast Symphony in Florida.
• PL Teacher of the Year Award
Congratulations to Qi Zhang for his outstanding work in guiding and supporting his students’ growth.
