About the competition
Founded as an online competition in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic, the annual Piano Star International Competition brings together young talent worldwide. Open to pianists of any nationality ages 18 and under, the competition is an excellent platform for young artists to gain exposure and experience in competitive environments, receive valuable feedback from esteemed judges, and compete for cash prizes, scholarships, titles, and more. For the second year in our competition history, select winners will also have the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in June 2024.
