Described as “a tremendous virtuoso” by renowned pianist Matti Raekallio, the Chinese concert pianist Brian Yuebing Lin first gained national attention as one of only 20 young artists in the United States to receive the $100,000 Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Arts Award. On the competitive circuit, Mr. Lin earned first-prize finishes at the Virginia Waring and the Lennox International Piano Competitions, and took Third Prize in the Houston Symphony’s Ima Hogg International Competition, for which he was featured in the Houston Chronicle.
Brian Lin is currently based in New Jersey while pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. He holds Bachelor and Master of Music Diplomas from The Juilliard School.
